All riders must wear the helmet provided. It is the law in British Columbia.

What sort or clothing should I wear for the tour?
Vancouver’s coastal climate is fairly mild. Athletic wear is a good base layer. In overcast conditions, be prepared for varying degrees of precipitation. Gloves are recommended for the spring and fall months and sunscreen and sunglasses for the summer months.

How many riders are on each tour?
There are a maximum of eight riders on each tour. We like to keep our numbers low to increase the intimacy of the experience.

What is the minimum age?
The minimum age for riders on the tour is 13. Families with children under 13 are asked to book a private tour.

What sort of shape do I need to be in?
Riders need to be in moderate shape. The vast majority of the terrain is flat, but there is one hill at the start of the morning tour. All riders need to be able to pedal their bike under their own power for a minimum of three hours.

Will there be bathroom breaks?
There will be one bathroom break on the morning tour and one on the afternoon tour.

What if I need to change my tour booking?
You can change your tour booking by emailing or calling us directly. The more notice you give, the easier it will be to reschedule your tour.

What time do I need to arrive for my tour?
You should arrive fifteen minutes before your tour starts. This time will allow for proper bicycle fitting. Your guide will meet you in the lobby of English Bay Bicycles. The group will leave at the start time provided.
